Rubis Queen in Rio - a beautiful filly foal , just what we hoped for!

Our first foal of the year - and also a first for our lovely young stallion, Hilin Dallas. Several different international judges had a special mention about him in his shows here in 2025, published in the Welsh Pony and Cob Society Journal 2026

Already successfully shown in the UK , multi champion - Dallas has been appreciated and quality has been recognised repeatedly.

We believed that this would be a good match and we are very pleased with the filly. She has alot of his characteristics, particularly his shoulder, neck and front end conformation (as far as we can see - it is not always easy at this age).

She is out of Thistledown Queen of Rio, by Thistledown Arctic Sun (by Mynach Buccaneer , the maternal half brother of Thistledown Artic-Air, who sired Thistledown Rain Man (Rain Man PS), who sold for $175,000 (approx. £133,350) in July at Traverse City Open Sales 2025 – a testament to the value and reputation of these bloodlines.
