Since coming back from the National Welsh Show, we have been working hard at home and concentrating on the ridden horses and their competing.
Now that all the imports have arrived from Wales, and all of our sold weanlings have left to join their new families, we have had more time to focus on the training side of things.
Eclair du Peymol and Easy Rider have been out a few times, in CSO (showjumping) and Dressage respectively, both achieving pleasing and consistent results on the whole. With qualifying points being given for the placings, we are slowly but surely moving up on the results board, currently in the top 300 for Amateur 3 dressage, it would be good, at this early stage in the season to think that we could finish in the top 100. We will see!
There are still many aspects that need work, and with the younger horses also needing the training and to be brought out / back into competition, winter certainly will not be quiet!

We still have a couple of later born foals to wean in the coming few weeks - and the Winter Youngstock Welsh Show at Pompadour on the 15th November.
Let us hope that the weather is still ok and we can get those white socks clean and sparkling!
