Foaling is finished for 2025!

Our last foal of the year arrived in the early hours of this morning - and she is exactly what we ordered!! A lovely palomino filly by Hilin Lord Aurelius!

With our first foals of the year being colts, we began to wonder if we would get any fillies at all this year, but then 2 arrived in quick succession! All of our foals this year are very well marked - with 4 white socks and a big blaze, which seems quite incredible that they all have the same!

We are incredibly happy and relieved that the births all were very straightforward and that all the foals have arrived safe and healthy. We have a range of colours , dilute and solid, so this is also really lovely to have the diversity.

Coverings have been well underway for a few weeks, with our own mares and with several visiting mares also, the stallions have been busy, not that they are complaining!

The sun is shining (mostly!), the grass is abundant - now is the time for the new mums to profit with their foals whilst we enjoy watching them grow.
